We're a small, local team that loves climbing and teaching. We also feel pretty lucky to call Southern Utah home.

We created this festival to share what makes this place special—from the world-class climbing crags and varied landscapes of our “little” corner of Utah to the people and local businesses that make our community what it is.

Outdoor climbing can be daunting, but it can also be incredibly rewarding. We want to help you experience the satisfaction and confidence that comes from trying something new, taking on something a little scary, and discovering that you’re capable of more than you thought.

Maybe you have the will, but not the way. That’s where we come in.

The 2026 St. George Climbing Festival brings together hands-on learning, indoor and outdoor climbing opportunities, education, local businesses, and plenty of ways to connect with other climbers. There’s a place for you here no matter your experience.

Presented by Contact Climbing Gym in partnership with The Desert Rat and Greater Zion, the festival celebrates the people, places, and organizations that make Southern Utah such a unique destination—and the climbing community that brings it all together.
